Why Knekte?
Tbh we just believe that life's better when there's something on the calendar. Something to look forward to. But we also know that in every squad, group, or duo someone takes on the responsibility of planning the outings. They're the one's that send the detailed itinerary. They know the menu before you get there and what you're most likely to order. They're the people with their finger on the pulse so you never miss your favourite artist. They start the group chats and keep them alive. They're the people that make sure everyone's home safe as they themselves stumble home. We're them, and we wanted to build for them, because going out shouldn't require so much responsibility before we get there. And frankly, we should all be going out a hell of a lot more. So let's go. Let's go party.
ps: by "party" we mean get f**ed up at the club, or meet for tea, wander through a library, discover a hidden art gallery, try yoga or skydiving, sit on a park bench with a view that makes you feel tiny. by "party" we mean whatever makes you feel alive.

What is Knekte?Knekte is and app that makes sure good times actually happen. We guide you through the entire process—from discovering cool events and places, to gathering your crew (or meeting new people), to handling all those dirty little details, to preserving the memories afterwards. Because we believe life's better when there's something on the calendar.

How does Knekte work?Once you sign up, you can explore events and places around you. When you "like" an activity, we'll encourage you to either invite people you know (Knektions) or meet new people (Chance Encounter). Once we gather who's in and who can't make it, we'll whip up a plan where our in-app Planet will keep track of all the dirty details from who's buying tickets to the outfit inspo. After everyone gets home safe, Planet encourages you to share stories, moments, photos, vibes, or anything you'd like, which Planet then turns into a memory for you to view anytime.

How can I add people I know on Knekte?Just go to your profile, tap Knektions, tap the plus icon in the top right corner and then add your people. Here you can share your party link—anyone that clicks the link will instantly become a Knektion.

How do I save an event or place on Knekte?Just tap the heart in the top right corner of the activity. That will save it as an interest, which will transform into a plan once people are invited and interest is gauged.

How can I invite people to an interest?When you like an event or place, the pop-up box will ask you for invites. Don't worry if you skip—you can always add people from the Interest or Plans tab.

If someone invites me to an interest, can I invite others?Of course! Anyone can invite their own Knektions to anything. The more the merrier, that's what we're about.

What's a Chance Encounter?Meet new people who want to go to the place or event you do. Choose how many people you'd like to go with, and what you're looking for (fling, buddies, network). We'll match you with others who fit your vibe. Once everyone accepts, the plan is on!

Why do I need a profile?Profiles help us fill the explore feed to things you'd like to do. It's also shown to anyone who taps your profile from interest, plan, or memories. Think of your friend bringing someone you don't know—just tap their profile to see if you might vibe.

Does Knekte have a premium subscription?Right now, Knekte is totally free. We believe everyone deserves to have something awesome on their calendar.

Where can I download Knekte?You can download Knekte on both the App Store and Google Play. Simply search for Knekte, install it, and start exploring today!

Can I use Knekte in any location?Currently, users can only sign up with phone numbers registered in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. But anyone who is on Knekte can explore events and places all over the globe—just change your city from the Profile tab to travel.

Who made Knekte?Lani Lynchey, a self-proclaimed party girl and the human embodiment of "What's the plan?" One of those spreadsheet-loving, outfit mood board–sending, reservations triple-checked kind of freaks. She built Knekte from the ground up to make sure everyone has the best night ever—then does it all again four days later.
